Fishing Report

Ajpril 10th,

We will reopen on Friday April 12th.  The river continues to be very high and very fast, but I think we should be able to catch some walleye.  I do not think the perch will be in there.  If your coming just for perch, then I would suggest the Wisconsin side of the river.  I will put my docks to shore on Friday afternoon and I think we can get some perch closer to where the shoreline is, although it is still underwater and will be for at least another week due to this storm coming through.  I also know that we can get some walleye out of there too.  Putting those docks there will creat some opportunity.  Keep in mind, we are still high and fast, think heavy.

Be sure to check out www.captainhookstackle.com for more information on our cabin available or lures.

Keep an eye on our calendar of events on the web site.  I will keep updating it as we get new dates.

Karen got in some really nice looking shirts for Clement Fishing Barge.  Make sure you stop in and check them out.
